Mike Mawby provides Operator’s expertise for offshore developments and operations.
Mike holds a Bachelors degree from the Open University plus 30 years international oil industry experience, including 15 years living and working offshore.
He helped commission, operate and maintain sub-sea tie backs in the 1980s then developed the Safety Case and served as OIM on the UK's first HPHT development in the 1990s. In 2000 Mike moved to Houston, Texas to serve on the Leadership team during development planning, concept selection and front end design for the worlds largest a deep water FPSO. He then developed and delivered success against business plan for production & growth in Angola Block 0 in the role of Malongo Area Superintendent.
In 2006 Mike launched a Lean Sigma program, took on a lead role for all UKCS, Deep water and Dutch sector capital projects and also grew the wider Base Business standardisation program as Manager for Chevron Upstream Europe through 2014. Mike now offers, a first-hand, offshore oil and gas operator’s perspective through local company Ops Input Limited which he joined 25th December 2014.
Steve Bibby offers Operators expertise on Commercial Agreements.
Steve qualified as a Mechanical Engineer and has over 33 years of international oil and gas experience with major producers, Texaco and Chevron. He has held positions in reservoir engineering, production engineering, subsea engineering (working both on and offshore).
Over the last 20 years Steve has specialised in oil and gas Operators commercial arrangements and has developed and negotiated/ renegotiated commercial arrangements (e.g., Joint venture, construction/tie-in, processing, transportation, oil and gas sales and decommissioning security agreements etc.) for a number of operated and non-operated fields at varying stages of commercialisation, development and/or production, in both the UK and Europe.
Steve now offers a, first-hand experience with an offshore oil and gas operators’ commercial perspective through consulting firm Ops Input Limited which he joined in early 2015.

Terry Arnold delivers Operators expertise on Facilities Engineering and Process Design.
Terry Arnold is a highly experienced Facilities Engineer with over 30 years in upstream oil & gas. He has worked with Operators from over 10 different countries in all phases of engineering on a wide variety of projects both on and offshore.
With 10 years at leading EPC companies plus 20 years providing an Operator’s perspective on process designs. Terry spent recent years involved in a UK operator’s corporate ‘project functional review’ process. Leading technical studies, supporting operating assets globally, together with the systematic development and administration of process/engineering standards and effective implementation of process design safety.
A proven track record working with Ops Input operations consultant on multiple offshore field designs, project managing contract workshops and providing specialist process engineering design expertise including specific areas of expertise such as H2S and Wax handling, HPHT, HIPPS, heavy oil, flow assurance, hazard and operability.
Neil Probyn provides Operator’s expertise for contracting & procurement in development and operations phase.
Neil holds a Masters degree in Engineering from Cranfield University and has worked for 31 years in the oil & gas industry, covering both Upstream and Downstream sectors, with more than 20 years international experience overseas.
In the last 10 years Neil has been responsible for establishing successful global contracting arrangements for Shell covering major project engineering and maintenance services and more recently lead the development of strategic relationship management with Shell’s top Project contractors worldwide.
Neil provides hands-on advice on all aspects of delivering Procurement excellence, including procurement capability and leadership skills development, guidance on procurement ethics and compliance, value-driven sourcing strategy development and execution planning, negotiation and deal-making, supply chain systems & procedures, critical supplier relationship management, supply chain metrics, contract governance and continuous improvement.
